This website supports the Villanova University School of Law, Graduate Tax Program course on Electronic Commerce (LTX-4010)and focuses on emerging legal issues associated with electronic transactions and interactions.

The course looks at the similarities and differences of electronic transactions from those done through tradition means by examining state and federal law promoting e-commerce, reviewing contract law doctrine and formalities, and understanding the commerce issues surrounding privacy and data protection.

The course will also examine the impact of electronic transactions on tax issues, including state and local tax administration.
